| Karadenizin İstanbula yakınında Şile. Adı üzerinde şile bezinin memleketi. Limanı bana Rodosu hatırlattı sanki Colossus bacaklarını Şile limanının girişine koymuş, gerçek değil hayal benimki, hoş Colossus'un gerçekliği hiç bir zaman doğru olmadı ya. Neyse, benim gibi Ankaralı için denizin olduğu her yer çekicidir. Dereleride severim sessiz gürültüsüz akan dere kenarlarınıda, Şileye gelirken şehrin içine girmeden kendi halinde akan fotoğraflarımdaki bu dereyi bulabilirde giderseniz! Sanırım deremi? Şile is close to Istanbul, on the Black Sea coast. It is the home of famous Sile cotton fabrics. Its port reminds me of the Port of Rhodes. I visualize Colossus with its legs on either side the Port of Şile. My imagination, of course! Besides, no one can confirm whether or not Colossus actually existed. For someone from Ankara, like myself, anywhere you have access to the sea, it is attractive. I like rivers and creeks also. Rivers that flow quietly….There is one right before you enter the town of Şile. |
