Asker kulesinden Gümüşlüğü görüntüleyebilmek için bayağı zorlu bir tırmanma yapmak gerekiyor Kulenin bulunduğu tepeye. İşde o Kuleden baktığınızda kendinizi bir Kral, Kraliçe yada Yunan mitolojisindeki bir Tanrı gibi hissedebilirsiniz. Gümüşlüğe geldiğinizde lütfen sadece Tavşan adasıyla yetinmeyin bir zamanlar gerçekten Askerlerin nöbet tuttuğu kulenin olduğu o tepeye tırmanın. Ben bu Kulede kocaman bir Türk Bayrağımızın dalgalandığınıda hayallerime ekledim.. Bodrumdan Gümüşlüğe gelmek çok kolay kısa aralıklarla dolmuş kalkmakta, en fazla 25 dakika sonra antik adı Myndos olan Gümüşlüğe gelebilmektesiniz. Gelin: kışın yemyeşillikler içinde dolaşın. Yazın masmavi temiz sularında yüzün vede tabiiki balıklarından yemeden dönmeyin ..... |

Gümüşlük (Myndos)…My dearest darling! To be with you, to be breathing you…I have been to many a places, seen many a beauties, none has taken your place in my heart, none could breke me away from you. The photos you are looking at are the most recent ones I took. In order to shoot photos of Gümüşlük from the Guard Tower, you have to do one heck of a walk uphill. Once you look down from that Guard Tower though, you will feel like a King or Queen of ancient times or a God out of Greek mythology. When you come to Gümüşlük, do not just go on the “Rabbit Island”. Make sure to go up to the top of the hill to this Guard Tower, where soldiers at one time, did pull sentry duty. I can imagine a big Turkish flag, our flag, being flown here, but obviously no one thought about doing it. It is very easy to get to Gümüşlük. Busses run very frequently and it is only about 25 minutes ride from Bodrum. They will get you to Gümüşlük, or Myndos as some started calling recently. Come and enjoy the green in winter time and the aquamarine, crystal water in summer time….and of course, do not leave without tasting the delicious fish. |
