I noticed a large young, white collar population in Denver. They looked dynamic and hard working. Denver is a clean, well organized city. Red Rocks is only twenty minutes drive to town. The amphitheater here is used as stage by many star musicians for their concerts. This is a natural amphitheater. Buffalo Bill, whose real name is William F. Cody has his grave in this area. It is up on the mountain close to the little historical western town of Golden. Golden is twenty five minutes drive to the city of Denver. Buffalo Bill was born in 1846. He was a gold miner and a soldier…and of course, an excellent buffalo hunter. That is why they named him “buffalo” Bill. Interesting! In the past I thought he was a story character, but he actually came to this world, lived and passed. |
