I first heard the name Aspat in a Turkish folk song. For years, however, I thought the word in the song was “Asphalt”. Never thought it was Aspat and never related it to “a place”. Then I saw it in a Turkish TV series. It is gorgeous. If you ever go there, you will love it and congratulate yourself for coming. You will watch fish jumping up and down where Aspat Creek meets the sea. You may start talking to the fish and decide not to eat them! |
